I want to thank everyone who voted Matt Hicks for the Senior CLASS Award.

It was announced yesterday that UC Irvine's Andrew Morales won the award and Matty is one of the 4 students to make First Team All-American. It was not for lack of fan votes as UL fans made sure he aced that part.

I cannot thank all of you enough for what these last 4 years meant to Matty and his family. I will miss the atmosphere & yummy food but most of all I will miss the people who took this crazy Texan in and made me feel so comfortable. I'm hoping after Matty finishes dental school, he will return and make Lafayette his home. I will be back, you can't get rid of me that easy!

Matty Hicks is one of the primary reasons we fans get so excited at games. He is a fine person and will undoubtedly do well in life! Thank you for sharing your son with us for 4 very quick years!
