yeah i know i was not ragging them it is just ashamed that we can't get them to all say the same thing to ackowledge to recruits that they all went to the same school. right now it sounds like they went to three different places.

In Ike's case, it was most probably due to post-Katrina emotions. He is from the middle of New Orleans (went to Abramsom), the part that was hit hardest. Him saying he was from New Orleans was most probably his way of showing his support for his neighbors that were watching the Super Bowl from around the country.

When Charles Tillman was burned for one big play after another by Carolina's Steve Smith in the 2005 playoffs, he earned a place in the doghouse with many Bears fans. This year, though, the Bears have given up only five passes of 20 yards or longer and their plus-13 ratio in the category ranks them fourth in the league. Their first-down prevention rate on third down is a league-best 79 percent, they hadn't allowed a TD pass until last week and they are ranked fifth in net yards allowed per pass attempt (5.98). And Tillman is a big reason. "Yes, he was under the gun last year, we all were," Smith said. "And there are a couple games Charles would like to have back. When you go through times like that, you go back to the practice field and you analyze what you're doing and of course the things you need to improve on. "That's what Charles has done. CHICAGO - Nowhere in the 96 pages of the S.L. Parker book, "212: The Extra Degree," can be found instructions on how to play cornerback in the NFL. But Charles Tillman feels much more equipped to do his job after reading Parker's self-help book in the off-season at the suggestion of a friend. Tillman was open to any and all suggestions after his tangled feet became the symbol of the Bears' playoff collapse against Carolina last season, especially advice on the effects of pressure on performance. "At 211 degrees, the water's hot and at 212 water boils and you get steam and with that steam you can power a locomotive - meaning that extra degree is so huge," Tillman explained in front of his locker as if he were reading the book jacket in a place with dim lighting that served cafe lattes. "If you apply that, too, your job as a reporter, photographer, Christian, pastor, parent (or cornerback), that one extra degree can make you much more successful." It's a big week for Bears cornerbacks Tillman and Nathan Vasher. If Arizona hopes to keep Monday night's game close, the Cardinals will need monster games from receivers Anquan Boldin, the NFL's seventh-ranked receiver, and Bryant Johnson, an underrated No. 2 option. The trap comes in thinking the loss of Larry Fitzgerald will render Arizona's passing game useless. It doesn't. Tillman, playing better than his critics suggest, gets that. He has learned a lot since Steve Smith twisted him around like a pretzel last January, and some of the most important lessons came from pages that were not in the Bears' playbook. Did you see how quickly Charles Tillman picked up the ball a ran into the end zone for the Bears tonight? WOW! For those who didn't see it, the Monday Night Football game between the Cardinals and the Bears was unbelievable! Arizona totally outplayed the Bears from start to (almost!) finish. But the Bears defense kept making plays in the 2nd half. Chicago had 6 (yes 6!) turnovers and NO offensive points (well, they did get a FG after the defense set them up) and still won! Da Bearz trailed 20-0 at the half and 23-3 with less than a minute in the 3rd quarter. The Bears forced a fumble and returned it for a TD just before the end of the quarter. In the 4th quarter, Brian Urlacher stripped the ball from Edgerrin James and Tillman picked it up and raced to the TD. Once again the Bears 'D' holds and forces a punt. Devin Hester runs it back for the go-ahead score. But Matt Leinart leads his team down to FG range for the game-winning score. However, the kicker misses just barely wide left. A Crazy game! Glad a former Ragin' Cajun played a prominent role! Way to geaux Peanut!
