As far as Fenroy being on the wall, the guy rushed for 1,000 yards for 4 years straight. I cant find the stats now but if I remember right, Fenroy is 1 of 8 or so guys in history to accomplish. We will never see that again at UL.
One thing you are missing is that Tillman is also, IMO, the best ambassador for our university of any of the guys on said wall. Jake is certainly coming back and getting back in the public eye but Tillman has been a UL guy from the days from which he played here. Something needs to be said about that as well.

Tillman has been holding the rope since before there was one.

The thing that McGuire and Carter can do that the rest (Pierce Reed Harris Jackson) can't do is to take it to the House---Now I know that Harris has had his Bowl run and the NSU run but McGuire would have been in the E-zone waiting for him!!!YOu VOB above all should know the unteachable-----SPEED!!! Now add the power vision cutting ability and quickness of McGuire and you have the REAL DEAL!!!

I deal in results, Boomer, not appearances or speculation. Harris this year: 5.65 YPC, 1 TD, against quality competition; McGuire this year: 2.9 YPC, 0 TD against quality competition.

Let me further expand: your two guys [Carter and McGuire] against Arkansas and KSU totaled 11 carries for 33 yards[3.0 YPC]. My two guys [Harris and Pierce] in the same two games totaled 31 carries for 182 yards [5.87 YPC].

    I rest my case.

One can never have too much speed on the defensive side of the ball. Offensively, speed is nice, but it is a vastly overrated commodity. Jerry Rice [4.6 Forty], Emmett Smith, Walter Payton [both 4.5-4.6 guys]. Sure there are some really good fast guys too, but I'll take Rice or Crabtree or Megatron over nearly any of them.

Well considering he is 6'6 and has a huge stride, he may not appear to be as fast as say someone 5'10

Harris is fast...he is built like deuce Mcallister... Grown ___ man at RB = deceptively fast. Just because he may not be as fast as Elijah doesn't mean he can't take it to the house. Harris doesn't seem fast because he is big....same reason Calvin Johnson doesn't seem like he would be that fast.
