Do you know where the place is located? I will be in Chicago on the 30th & 31st of this month. I would like to see the place.Originally Posted by Sid
Whoops. I meant cajun food. Should have been clearer. Yes there are some pretty good resturants. Bad thing is they also have an overabundence of generic burrito stands. Their Portillo's chain beats the hell out of almost any fast food chain we have here. And it it pretty neat that you can get good Greek food and a very good price at 4 am on Halstead St. I don't know how they can do it day in and day out. You should see the people at 4 in the morning at the casino I work at. I wouldn't want to be cooking them anything.Originally Posted by CDeb

I believe the Ragin Cajun place is on either 53rd, or S.Blackstone Ave. I actually came across it today as I was walkin around, but it's some kinda funky Indian owned restaurant. I dunno. I'll still try to give 'em some Ragin Cajun spirit. I'm sure I'll have more stories to come, but let's just say from what I've encountered so far, people here know who Peanut is.
God Bless.
Speaking of businesses named Ragin Cajun, I'm in Houston right now and just past a Ragin Cajun Seafood on Richmond Ave. I'm sure those of ya'll living here have past it too. Is this owned by a fellow fanatic or just another person trying to capitalize on the name?
I BELIEVE the Ragin' Cajun chain in Houston is owned by a UL alum. There is at least one more (Downtown underground).Originally Posted by Jeaux
Also one near the intersection of Gessner and Westheimer (not far from the Beltway) and next door to a Hooters.
