My wife taped it and I watched his segment last night. He is, IMO, a throwback to our ideal of what a professional athlete shoudl be as far as a role model. He is also a great representative of our university.

Peanut is a great guy. He is a credit to his parents, his hometown, his university and his pro team.

He knows where he is from, remembers those who guided him along the way to where he is today, and is sincerely a modest and humble man.

didn't watch it, but my wife did all on her own. She was telling me about it and then said his name followed by "Why does that sound familiar?"

I told her who he was and then she put it all together.

Peanut gave us some love tonight for the Sunday Night game. His intro: "Charles Tillman, THE University of Louisiana."

He probably does, but they don't always do those verbal intros for games. I think they only do it for the Sunday night and Monday night games so you don't really get to hear him say it that often. Anyway, it's just good to see a former player setting the national audience straight on our name. :-)
    Geaux Peanut!!
