These message board are giving UNT more incetive as the days progress. I am sure they are pasteing a lot of the articles about the Cajun offense, bottom 10 stuff and internet predicitions on a bulletin board in their locker rooms.

I most heartedly agree and the same goes for tossing out words like "cupcake" and "patsy" by ESPN and other media types. But, be careful Fish, you don't want to be accused of "political correctness" (formerly known as a basic respect for people). These are the times we live in.

I sent them an eMail, saying they should calculate the bottom 10 by dividing winning percent by athletic budget. Reasons:

1) Picking on smaller schools is poor sportsmanship.

2) Picking on the big boys is a lot more fun. Nobody is interested in UNT's struggles, but they would love to see Michigan and ND (sorry, CDeb) in the bottom 10.

3) Since the big schools also have big rivals with big fan bases, focusing on the big schools will drive more traffic to their website.

If you like that idea, go to the website and tell them you like that idea.

I tell you what - I don't care where a kid plays college football - it takes guts, sacrifice, blood, sweat and tears. I respect every one of them and I don't like hearing what's said often by the bobble heads in the booth. It ties into why I want the players and programs in the ESPN Tuesday night games in Troy or Boca or Murfreesboro or Lafayette to get all the attention.

I think you're talking about PC Gone Wild. At least, I hope so. In my view of the way things "ought to be", life would play out like a PGA tournament versus say, a professional wrasslin' match.

I eagerly await the lawsuit. I bet Karl Bernard is on the horn to him right now. If he can get the venue changed to Baton Rouge its a slam dunk especially since its Emmert that is firing him. Dr. Emmert is as much of a traitor in those parts as Nick for leaving the mecca that is Baton Rouge.
