Amazon is rolling out an interesting new feature called #AmazonCart, which lets you add Amazon products to your shopping basket without leaving Twitter. To use the feature, you must connect your Twitter account to Amazon, reply with #AmazonCart to any tweet that contains an Amazon product link, then the product is added to your shopping basket and you can finish your shopping at a later time. With one eye clearly on localization, the service is actually called #AmazonBasket for UK shoppers, which makes sense. The feature only appears to be live in the US and the UK for now, however....
