A renovated tigue would be nice. How would the "roof people" watch the game if another stadium was built? _
Funny. That's a very un-A Hays Town building.

But really I don't think it would serve the university to tear Blackham down. It's paid for and it still gets used constantly by the university and seems like it's rented out every other weekend. We need the extra $$$ that comes with it.

I could not disagree with you more.

The university doesn't need Blackham or it's barns.

    The university needs:

NEW STUDENT HOUSING both for athletes and the general students in addition to renovating the current housing.

This is the perfect location for a large housing complex that could further bridge the gap between the athletic campus and the academic campus and bring the students more into the athletic family.

As it is, there is no more room on the academic campus for student housing. None. On-campus student housing is the biggest need this university has.

So, why would you be against something that would vault this university 20 years into the future?

It's the right thing to do, and it needs to be done as soon as possible.

There is more than enough room in that area for blackham and student housing, although I would like to set those barns on fire.

Bad news for any plans to build student housing on the Blackham property is the new addistion of ANOTHER indoor football team. They will be playing at Blackham.

As for the horse farm land....why not make it into something where the barn could be kept and the university could make money. I think the horse farm land could be turned into a university golf course. Coach Bass proposed it to Dr. A while he was here but was shot down. Good idea if you ask me.

I have a Question Re: Any word yet on "The Tigue"?

HOW DID THIS GET TURNED INTO A DISCUSSION OF BLACKHAM?... STUDENT HOUSING?... THE HORSE FARM?
