Trivia Question: when was the last time the Cajuns were favored by such a spread??? I can't remember that's for sure and that is what concerns me to be honest. If it wasn't for the injuries, I'd bet it all that we would cover but I'm concerned. We better strap it on and see. I just don't see anybody on the schedule stopping the offense. They may limit a bit but I see 450+ yards a game easy. They better blitz McCoy and Washington often.
The numbers for last week's NT game show a lot. They outgained FIU in every category and put up 450 yards of offense holding FIU to under 400. However, the turnovers killed them and a punt was blocked for a TD. Since we don't do a great job of forcing TO's, I will say that this game will be closer than last week. We may get 1-2 but we have to eliminate them on our end as well. This game may not be the blowout that many are expecting.
45-24
I say if we up 20 at halftime pull Desmo for McGuire. No reason for Desmo to take more of a pounding than needed when he is nursing some injuries.
