While out and about the other night, we enjoyed some great appetizers at a local tavern. The kind so good you want to come home and immediately recreate your own version of it.
That is exactly where these meatballs come from. The restaurant meatballs were mild and sweet. I wanted something with some zing and spice. I also added some rice and bread crumbs to bulk up the recipe a bit and make it more of a meal, instead of just a starter.
