Four attempted murder counts after man allegedly sets fire to occupied house

A Eunice man was arrested and charged with four counts of attempted first degree murder and aggravated arson on Tuesday after allegedly attempting to burn down a house with four people inside.
John Bourque was identified and taken into custody after Eunice Police officers responded to 241 East Oak Avenue.
A 911 caller stated that a man was pouring gasoline onto the residence that was occupied by the unidentified four individuals. The suspect then set the house on fire and left the scene but the victims doused the flames before officers arrived.
