I was sweating this game, with the way some of our pitching and some of our hitting has been as of late. Hopefully we get back on top of our game for the Conference Tourney and Post Season but do well enough prior to get at least a regional and hopefully a SuperRegional
I think the rest after this weekend is going to be huge for this team going into the home stretch. 60 games in 4 months, with school and everything else, really is a grind. These guys get through finals in a couple weeks, and it's all about having fun and winning a national championship.
I think you're going to see a spring in their step after this weekend.
Nice to win on days when we don't have our best stuff on the mound OR at the plate. That's what champions do.
You know your so very right about, the grind. I agree if UL both softball and baseball can hold serve through finals, then get to post season pep in step, bats and ALL arms, those young men and women could very well bring home some big time trophies!!!
More lazy writing and editing by the advertiger. Didn't know we were playing lsubra&m tonight....
