I remember playing back in the day and having a 1st baseman that dug everything out of the dirt. When the out wasn't there, he moved his feet and never let a ball past him. That gave me the confidence to make throws that I normally knew I shouldn't. Take more risks. I think Compton gives us that. Trahan has no business letting some loose, but he knows when he does, worse thing is it only results in a safe call at 1st. Best case, some of the amazing plays we've seen this year.
