New Scoreboard in the Dome

_ This is something that is long overdue. Unfortunately, because the CajunDome is an all-purpose facility, it's current configuration doesn't make it a good basketball setting, or should I say, as good as it could be.

But, being that we no longer have any other permanent sporting events in there (hockey, arena football, indoor soccer), it is something that the CajunDome and the University should look into. All it would take is either a new bleacher configuration, or redoing the ones they already have. As a student, I always wanted to be that much closer to the court, and especially since they're having that contest now to name the student section, and are doing other things to improve the arena, it would be a good time to really make that place into a GREAT college basketball arena. The way they have the student section broken up hurts the ability for coordinated cheers and so forth from the students. and in college basketball, it is the students who generally control the level of noise, etc in the arena.

Also, didn't I hear a while back that they are going to start restricting seating in the upper levels to encourage more seating in the 100 and 200 levels?

I can't understand how she got kicked off of Dancing with the Stars? Didn't she use some of those moves on the show?

One of the main things we need to do is fill up the student section like it was at the end of last season. I saw to many games where the first row of the student section was opposing team fans and nobody moved them out.

I never saw opposing team fans I sit there for every game. Yea you right, the student section was rocking the last six home games!

Yeah, we sit behind the goal on the 2nd level on that side and I can recall at least three games where the front row was opposing fans. I remember this because I made a comment about it and ushers never made them go to their correct seats.

Ya the student section was fun to be in at the end of the year. I am trying to decide what is worse in the student section. Having a row of opposing visitors, or people who are well past their college years and sit on their hands the entire game sitting up close or anywhere in that section.
