New Scoreboard in the Dome

"With all of that, the Cajundome is getting over $3M to update their scoreboard and sound system this Summer. The scoreboard will have a huge circular video screen below it, and then on the mezzanine level, behind each goal, there will be new, 120' LED screens. And the P.A. system will be new. All of that means an enhanced atmosphere for Ragin' Cajuns basketball."

Anyone have more info on this? 120' screens... sounds kind of big. _

That's the LED screens they have at all NBA arenas. Long narrow screens that wrap around a large section of the building.

So it will be 2-120' fascia boards.....that will be really sweet

Don't know if you guys came across this yet but here's a rendering and article of the new scoreboard going up in the Cajundome. It's really impressive. Many NBA arenas don't have anything this nice! Good job Greg Davis.

On a side note:
This is why the City needs to retain ownership of the arena. The city is still allowing the Dome to operate at a small loss allowing for the minor upgrades and renovations that keep an aging building looking good. You don't see these upgrades with any of UL's athletic facilities because they just can't afford it.
