I think that this would be a great idea. Other universities do this for big football games. They turn it into a big tailgate party.

By the way, great idea. I would definitely be down for that. Let us all know what they tell you.
Scotto_25, That is ONE HELL OF AN IDEA!!!! I don't know if many people have seen the new jumbo tron but that thing is AWESOMO 500000000000!!!! At the last basketball game, I found myself watching the Jumbo Screens instead of the game itself. I definitely think you are on to something with having the football games aired on the screens. Just need to see if the University will go for it. GREAT IDEA!!!! This is when it helps to know people in High Places. Lets Make this a Reality and not a Dream!!!
Great Idea.......
But the UL / FAU game is not being offered via internet streaming at the official FAU website this weekend.............and it's also not being televised.
That is what I was going to say as well...kinda hard to do when it is not on TV or even being streamed online.
We are all just going to have to listen to the radio.....the nerve.

would it be legal per se if the communication department would use away games as an chance to give Broadcasting students the opportunity to gain some practical experience by traveling with the team, setting up a live feed and broadcasting the games back to say the cajundome for such an event? sounds like a perfect learning opportunity to me
I was wanting a webcast too. Seems like a no go. OwlTV sometimes does a webcast for FAU but because of confusion with CSS maybe picking up the game they decided not to. Now looks like no CSS either.
All we would really need is a Webcam view of the field synced up with Jay's broadcast. North Texas was able to do it there (Boca) last week, we could do it too.
