New Scoreboard in the Dome

I heard Greg Davis, cajundome director or whatever, in a interview regarding the Top 28, state that the new "state of the art" scoreboard and sound system will be in and ready for roundball season. He said that these additions along with some sprucing up will make the cajundome the premier "college" basketball arena in the state of LA!!

I just renewed my Football season tickets and I am excited. There is going to be a season ticket drive meeting next week, I think the 24th but I will be out of state. Scott Farmer for any others not able to make the meeting is the man to contact if you want to take part in the drive.

Improvements to the Cajundome always sound great to me! Good to hear they are investing in a new scoreboard. I know I'm being picky but wouldn't it be nice to replace to ugly orange seats with Ragin Cajun Red seats? But that's not a necessary improvement just would be nice.

The scoreboard will have a huge circular video screen below it, and then on the mezzanine level, behind each goal, there will be new, 120' LED screens. And the P.A. system will be new. All of that means an enhanced atmosphere for Ragin' Cajuns basketball."

Anyone have more info on this? 120' screens. sounds kind of big.

That's the LED screens they have at all NBA arenas. Long narrow screens that wrap around a large section of the building.
