With pressure from services like Google Hangouts, Skype has now made group video calling free for everyone. This eliminates one of the long criticisms of Skype. Until recently Skype group calling, with more than two people, was for premium members only. Skype users on Windows, Windows Phone, Android, and iOS users will now all be able to use this feature with a limit of up to 10 people in a group chat. The Skype team is working on a version of the client for broadcasters called Skype TX. The team is still working on making messaging more reliable across all platforms. Source: Skype Blog
