Wonder if it will be ticket redemption bc it's a make up game.
Last mid-week, it's against Southeastern and if people know they're going to see him throw early they'll come out. He's allot of "buzz" between here and their, across the state and nationally. Scouts to see a prospect in a midweek game is rare and they'll be out as well. Just a prediction though.
I'm sure it will be a nice crowd. But, I can't imagine that it will be the most attended midweek game ever. I could be wrong though.
Wouldn't startng him on a Wednesday pretty much make him unavailable for the weekend? Maybe he could throw on Sunday if he only pitched a few innings Wednesday, but I don't like the idea of using up one of our most valuable relievers for a mid-week start. If he's going to start one, let him go on Tuesday. Jmo
Unless, with Baranik having a couple tough outings lately, Austin not looking like himself lately, Milhorn having a rough patch, and the way Bazar looked in an extended outing this weekend, they may be stretching him out to possibly be used as a starter in the postseason should the situation present itself???
Not possible, the old Tigue sat six thousand and more than six thousand watched UL and LSU Ben McDonald. Funny but I do not recall who won that game even though I was in the stands. I recall him dominating for many innings, but somehow I think the Cajuns won that game.
New improved Tigue? Not sure what the biggest crowd was mid week.
