UL drops 10-3 decision to Texas St.

Carson Baranik didn't have his usual stuff. Ragin' Cajun bats were relatively quiet, especially for a team that went into the weekend second-best hitting team in the nation. And one particularly controversial call cost UL coach Tony Robichaux an ejection.

Suffice it to say things weren't exactly going the Cajuns' way as Texas State rolled to a 10-3 win Saturday night in front of 4,197 at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

I still believe it is so very important to when the series to remain high in the rankings. It seems most everyone in the the top 10 will have at least 1 loss this week. A win today and we are 3-1 on the week, not bad but not great 75%. We had been winning about 90% of our before the week of UNO. Since the week of UNO the Cajuns are 8-3 73%. This pace will not not get us a national seed but likely still a regional host.

Virginia lost to Florida st. that isn't like losing to Texas state. Cal poly lost to long Beach State RPI 64.
