What are you thinking knuckle head, your already nuts.
Now with you pick 5-7, wrong, no way, wrong.
I am sticking with my original 8-4 and saying we may be 9-3 if we do not lose to Ark St. Now it is possible to emplode and be the 5-7 but I so hope you are wrong.
Possible to lose to Ark St., ULM(recent history), and FAU but that is all I see as possible loses.
Geaux Louisiana 8-4 with continued great play and mine set!!!![]()
Assuming we are playing like we are right now, I only see Troy as that possible loss but we are not on a level where we can be a bit sluggish one game and get away with it. We have to be on our game every week. I still think 7-5 is like it but 6-6 is very possible
I predict 3-3 after this saturday. We need to look at 1 game at a time. We can revise our predictions every week.
I am still with my 8-4 but may end up with my other choice which was posted prior to the season also of 9-3. With either record there could be an aditional game so could be 9-4, 8-5, or 10-3! Which one would you choose?
With our injuries, it would be more than a minor miracle to finish the season better than 7-5 IMO. Mike is becoming more and more banged up and the D is so thin its ridiculous. I just can't see us winning more than 4 more games max with the injuries the way they are. LB was supposed to be the deepest and best position on D, now it is the thinnest and most untested.
I have to say I'm really worried from this point forward. Our injury situation is unprecedented, and it would be terrible if the wheels fell off now...
Losing to ASU wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, but if we get 50+ hung on us, and Desormeaux's injury follows him, 4-5 wins looks possible
The only way we beat ASU this weekend is if Leonard makes significant mistakes IMO. A loud home crowd can make that happen!
I'm of the opinion that with the injuries that we've incured, it would be very very hard to go 9-3, i'd be skeptical of that even if we were healthy. When was the last time a Cajun team won 6 straight? I know Babbs senior year we had a 5 game but 6 games is huge with the injuries we've got. You have to understand, we've got our 11th leading rusher in the nation on crutches. That's a pretty big hit to our team. Now we don't know how the offense will run with someone new in there. I'll go with 7-5. You know the Cajuns have to lay an egg in conference at some point, in the years prior we've done it in 3 games every year, this teams got 1 i'm sure. Not trying to be negative, just realistic.
7-5 will be possible only if we win this weekend. UTEP and Troy look like pretty sure losses with our defensive issues.
I don't think there are any "sure" losses left on our schedule. With our offense, we are capable of out-scoring the other side. Whether or not we will is another story. I do think we'll stumble along the way and have at least another loss or 2. But I don't see any particular game as a "sure loss". I do think Troy and UTEP, along with ASU and others, present a tough challenge. But any one of those games could be a Cajun victory.
Who's our biggest rival? This week, it's Arkansas StAte!
