Thread: Meeting expectations: UL's Adams flourishing after slow start

  1. Default Meeting expectations: UL's Adams flourishing after slow start

He started the season with high expectations, his preseason billing as Sun Belt Conference Preseason Player of the Year hanging overhead.

UL left fielder Caleb Adams doesn't feel he was weighed down whatsoever by trying to live up the honor.

Adams is listed as a junior but Buckley refers to him as a senior in the article. Mistake by Buckley or is Adams not going to be here next year?

Draft, Tony expects loose between 15-18 guys through the draft and graduation. Basically if they are a junior there is a good chance that they will get drafted. There junior year is when they have the most leverage with the teams drafting them. Tyler Girouard does not plan on coming back for his senior year and because of his injury will not get drafted.

Yeah I expect most of our juniors to get drafted. I can still hold out hope that they draft him too low and decides to come back.

So I guess my original point is that Buckley got his grade wrong.

I think he may have been a draft eligible sophomore last year.
