They sure put it all out there, don't they! How close or how bad was the interference call late in the game?

And we wondered why the game wasn't televised...

Officiating blocked our path today. We wouldn't have just won this game had it been played at Cajun Field, we would have won this anywhere with neutral officiating.

We have to bleed with, not against, our team on this one and not make complaints other than that referee crew blew. It is time to enter SBC play and tear these other teams a new hole... and get us a bowl for our efforts.

If you do not have the sense to realize we just got screwed by the Big 12 officials, and that we should be celebrating a BCS opponent victory... you are a shallow person. Kansas State has a W that doesn't mean jack. They have a Karma void that will be filled with dung.

I guess coach Prince will be giving those officials high grades for the game.

    Just a comment or two:

The 10 penalties for 170 was what they originally brought out on the final stats. Except that's a mathematical impossibility. I pointed it out to their SID and after giving me a dirty look, he researched it and corrected it. It was 10 penalties for 87 yards.

I thought the defensive holding call on Blount in the end zone was bogus.

I also thought the pass interference call on Aurienne was bogus, but I saw the replay on the way home. Now I KNOW the call was bogus. The back judge threw the flag from 20 yards away. Aurienne didn't come close to hitting him.

Our special teams weren't very good today because K-State's special teams were flat awesome. We've been very very solid on special teams this year, but not against KState. The scouting report said they were good on special teams and their coach said pregame he was very pleased with that facet of the Wildcats. I was very impressed.

After the game, coach Prince told Fenroy he's the best back that Prince has ever coached against.

Des had to come out of the game because someone hit him square in the nose. It took the rest of the drive to stop the bleeding. Des was still bleeding after the game. The nose isn't broken. Des also has a hip pointer suffered in the first half.

Freeman was everything advertised. And, he's got three guys who can flat catch it. We won't face another quarterback like that one again (thank goodness.)

Thanks for the correction BOP. Even though it was 87 yards, it seemed as though the officials would throw the flag just when KSU needed it to get a 1st down. I'd like to know how many times it was thrown on 3rd and whatever, KSU failed to get the conversion, but low and behold a flag would appear to get it for them. I know that I'm wrong, but it seemed like a lot. And when KSU fumbled, didn't the refs blow the play dead because of an illegal motion that gave the ball back to KSU? Again, just when they needed it. After looking at the film, was that illegal hit called on us early in the game really an illegal hit? It sounded like you and Steve were questioning that also.

Rulebook wise, you could make a case for the late hit penalty. Judgment wise, it was poor. The guy was out of bounds, but we barely hit him at all. I thought it was very ticky-tack.

K-State had five first downs by penalty.

On the fumble, it was not ruled illegal motion. It was ruled a false start. The guy who threw the flag said that K-State's offensive line never got set. I'll have to see a replay before I comment on that one.

We'll have to take our frustrations out on our next opponent.
