Thread: New No. 1

    Default New No. 1

Wow! those college football "analyst" all have egg on their face. After the past three seasons have they not noticed that USC can not get through the terrible Pac-10 without a hiccup. Maybe now the USC slurping on espn can stop. This will make the college football season so much better! Now with USC out of the way, maybe that leaves the door open for a possible undefeated Penn State team to sneak in. JoPa rides again! haha

Mark my words, They will fall no lower than 10 (which is BS after they made Ohio State plummet like a rock for a loss against a top 10 team) and within the month they will start talking about USC being in the National Championship game again regardless of how many no-loss teams are above them.

It's a phenomenon how they can lose to terrible teams and yet professionals in the field of sports journalism think they are a top 5 team. They lost to Oregon St. 3 years ago, UCLA 2 years ago and Stanford last year. None of these 3 teams have been worth a crap in the past 5 years. Yet every season they are the preseason favorite because they blow out a terrible michigan team in the rose bowl. I hate how USC is annointed the NC before the 3rd week of the season. I mean every blog and sports story I read was "who will USC play in the National Championship". Seriously? They had Dirty Sanchez on the heisman list after beating a horrible Virginia team in a even more Horrible ACC. It baffles me. No No lets not talk about the best team in the best conference (Georgia) (and no i'm not a SEC fan, I'm a realistic college football fan and can see things without blinders on.) Maybe now I can watch Espn again now that i won't be force fed USC propaganda every 5 minutes.

It's how you finish. USC will be in the National Championship game if they win out, and as long as either the Big 12 and SEC champ have at least one loss.

The one smart thing USC did (provided they win out) is lose early.

Not sure if that would be true. It is possible though. I think a one loss SEC champion (Florida, Georgia, LSU) and a one loss Big 12 champion (OU, Mizzou) would make it before a one loss USC team.

Being that we just moved from Oregon and have many OSU fans as friends....I am very happy for them today. However USC will be back.
Just know we are missing one heck of a party tonight at our old hang out in Salem, Oregon!!!!!

Honestly do you really believe Joe Pa is still coaching that team? I respect what he has done but look at the man when he is on the sidelines playing with grass.

Yeah sorry for the failed attempt at sarcasm.

I think USC is done. There strength of schedule sucks, they aren't getting any help from there conference, that ohio st. win won't mean as much when the buckeyes lose 1-2 more games.

I was talking to a friend tuesday and I said if a there were 3 undefeated teams when it comes to the end, Big 12, SEC, and Pac 10, i don't see how they could justify not taking the Big 12 and SEC teams. Bottomline.

Sorry I didn't catch it...to many bud lights last night lol I want to see the system get screwed royally this year. either a few 0 loss teams or a bunch of 1 loss teams. It is the only way this system will change.

Didn't USC have the same number of losses last season as the two teams who played in the BCS Title game?

Kinda hard to do when one team had 1 loss and the other had 2 losses going into the BcS title game.

Oh my, may I have a mulligan?

Isn't there a song that goes, "those old gray cells aren't what they use to be?"

What I should have posted is, didn't USC have the same number of loses as one of the two teams who played in the BCS Title game last year?
