Teams will wrap up home-and-home season series
with 6:30 p.m. start at SLU's Alumni FieldLOUISIANA SILOUISIANA La. - Ragin' Cajuns baseball head coach Tony Robichaux announced that Wednesday's postponed game between Louisiana and Southeastern Louisiana has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at 6:30 p.m. in Hammond at SLU's Alumni Field.
The two squads were scheduled to duel it out this evening but rain showers that prevailed over south Louisiana Monday and Tuesday made field conditions at SLU unsuitable for action.
The Cajuns and Lions met earlier this season on Feb. 19 at Moore Field with Louisiana cruising to a 10-0 rout of the Lions behind the arm of Jordy Templet and the bat of Corey Coles.
Louisiana (12-23, 4-5 Sun Belt) will be back in action on Friday when the Cajuns host Sun Belt Conference member Arkansas-Little Rock (18-12, 2-4 Sun Belt) at 6:35 p.m. in the opener of a three-game series. The game will be televised live on KLAF-TV 17 in La. and carried over the radio on SportsRadio ESPN 1420-KPEL AM with live Internet streaming available on MEDIA link above. KPEL Game Day Only)
The Cajuns and Trojans will continue the three-game SBC set on Saturday at 2 p.m. and wrap up the series Sunday at 1 p.m.
