Microsoft today announced a basic pricing tier for Azure Web Sites as part of the April update._Microsoft already has_Free, Shared, or Standard mode for running websites and this Basic mode is a new one. This new_Basic pricing tier includes all the core Azure Web Sites abilities which allows you to run production sites at a lower cost. Basic pricing tier offers up to three instances of dedicated Virtual Machine running your web sites, SSL support, Scheduled Jobs, Endpoint Monitoring and more.
