    Precisely.

Yea that's a no brainer. Conference schedule is bad enough. We'd be better off traveling out to Kentucky and losing 12-0 than beating UNO at home

Don't look now at who we fell behind....(they didn't pass us, we fell behind them).

I should have given up obsessing over RPI and baseball stats for lent.

The season is over. The sky is falling. These posts are laughable.

Anybody that goes deep in June will need to be hot AND lucky. Might as well be us.

We do play with one RPI hand tied behind our back, but we have no choice but to keep calm and baseball on.

Quit that. It isn't any more mature than people obsessing over the loss. As a matter of observation it is less mature. People are keeping very close tabs on the team & care very much about everything as opposed to what alternative? Not giving a good hoot? So what is your point other than to try to sound like you have it all under control? I'm not stressing because I've been told a hundred times "it's baseball." I guarantee you, Robe wasn't happy at all about losing this game, especially in the manner in which they lost it. If you have a three run lead going into the 9th inning and lose then that isn't anything good. However, unless they booted the ball around & generally played like crap in the field then it isn't a team loss all the way around. It's a bull pen problem. If it happens once, it's an anomelee. If it happens again it's a developing bad habit. One in which could cost your team a national championship. I have no doubt Tony is going to address this at the right time in the right manner. But if your team gives you a three run lead in the ninth it's the closer's job to bring it home every single time out on the moud. That's the accountablility of a champion. anything else is excuse making for failure. Champions don't fail.

Another one putting words in people's mouths.
if Coach thinks that giving pitchers experience of working their way out of jams at the risk of dropping games is worth it then im sure it is the best thing for the team.

That doesnt mean that it isn't frustrating to fans.

Now you are putting words in Robe's mouth. You can bet your ___ he is playing to win.

    Now that's the spirit!

There is only one thing we can control right now ... and it is each game we play ... hopefully this loss will be the springboard to a GREAT finish to the regular season and on into S-BC tourney and beyond.

A bus trip home after a tough loss ... I think these guys will get it corrected ... we'll see Tuesday.

Except for it was. Boutte threw a gem against one of the better hitting teams in the sunbelt and our bullpen let us down. Let's not forget either that they threw their best statistical pitcher against us yesterday.
