CajunHawk You came up with an awesome Idea. Why not plant trees & bushes in the parking areas so that when an areal phot is taken of the school & athletic areas, you see a big giant UL logo. Nothing illegal about that.

If not completely closing the north side, add a section to the north home side and make it even with the student side.......How much is it costing to install seat in the south end zone?

If we're dreaming, now that we've started filling in one side I'd like to see us do a bigger version of this:

Fill in the south endzone and that will get you 34k lower bowl seats. Tear down the old upper deck and replace it with club seating and suites only. Put another row of suites plus the press box on the student side. That makes 36k. Then put a roof over the entire seating area just high enough to build an upper deck of general seating should we ever need to expand to 42k.

    Rain? No problem.
    Heat? Not anymore.
Atmosphere? More Cajun Fans closer to the field.
Noise? With suites and a roof to trap crowd noise... deafening.

And I'm pretty darn sure we could do it for the 45 million we want to build the new upper deck with.

You just described what Baylor University is building as their new stadium down there in Waco. They took everything into consideration weather, crowd noise, and fan base. We are right on their tails

The grass around the Maintenance Shed was just covered with sand, our tailgate spots are there. Whoever put it down didn't spread it to even, I believe they were just filling in low spots.
