UL Highest Statistically Among Top 5 Ranked

I ran a national ranking report of the top 5 schools in all five polls from ncaa.com. There are six schools listed because Texas was the only school that appeared once in the top 5 schools in all of the polls. I also included the RPI from ncaa.com. From the list, UL has the best national average ranking against the other five schools. Third best RPI.

If this plays out the way it appears it is shaping up, it looks like a two horse race. Everyone will ask the question can Louisiana's hitting stack up against Virginia's pitching. The real question is can our pitching shut them down in a low scoring contest? And are we capable of producing & and manufacturing runs against a great pitching club? I'm starting to get queezy at the reality of pulling out my check book & signing a good pay day over to Tony Robichaux. Hank Stram said you can't win it all unless you have it all. I believe UL-L's fielding and ability to make things happen on the base paths during an at bat, gives us the edge over anybody in any type of game. And gives our guys the ability to blow a close game out in one inning against any pitcher. Get ready boys & girls. The University of Louisiana is going to win a national championship. My my, how the worm has turned.

On some of these, it is not clear, whether they are our hitting or pitching statistic. Great run down, just not that clear. We look great whatever the statistic!

Was thinking the same. Love the post, as I am a stat nerd, but it's difficult to know if some of them are pitching stats or batting stats as there seems to be no order to them.
