Glad to read both sides are working to get this done. Also glad to read construction could start as early as next week.

Seems realistic to me. To "see" the university's level of commitment to football and facilities in action with bulldozers and concrete trucks.

By the way, let's not screw up like Allen ISD in Texas. Their new multi-million dollar football stadium is now closed due to structural cracks in the foundations/pathways.

I think HUD will be here for the 2014 season, after that I do not know.

The deal will get done, that is all that matters. No contract will keep him here if the SEC comes calling. (or maybe another Big 5 conference team)

So I ain't going to worry about it.

No... we have turned that down because we already feel certain of a bid to the New Orleans Bowl.

OK. Putting the “slap-stick” sarcasm aside…..Is there any word on the contract that the University of Louisiana (ULL) has made with the Head Coach of the football program?

If I were Hudspeth, I wouldn't sign the contract until I was guaranteed this was going to be built right, no short cuts. We should be building for one day being in a major conference, not to merely keep up with the other Sun Belt of CUSA members.
