LARAMIE, Wyo. - Kati Gyulai (Ką Tee U-la-ee), who has been the head women's coach at Louisiana Lafayette, has been named Wyoming's head women's tennis coach, Athletics Director Tom Burman announced Tuesday.
"The hiring of Kati is very exciting for the future of Cowgirl tennis," said Burman. "I believe she will be an outstanding role model for the young women in our program."
Gyulai becomes just the fourth head women's tennis coach in Cowgirl history. She replaces Krissy Hall, who resigned in August to become the head coach at UAB. She will begin her coaching duties on Sept. 10, 2008.
