Billy has come along way since starting out in the business. He has really worked hard to make his show one of the most quality sports shows out there. I remember when he started he had the guy on from the Flacons like every other day & that was putrid. But with the mix of guest hosts he has now, he keeps it entertaining for all the sports fans in acadiana.
If you really want to see how a radio show is done, there is seriously no better morning show than "In the Loop" in houston. If you really
"BUT CF337, WE CAN'T GET THAT ON OUR RADIO DIAL HERE!!"
Duh, that's why Al Gore invented the internet

Well, I'd have to disagree here. I can't listen to 103.7 as the local guys in the morning are not even local. At least Dave is not and his lack of knowledge of this area is apparent from the minute you listen to him. He doesn't talk much about the Cajuns and when he does, again, he knows nothing as he is not familiar with them at all. I could care less about him constantly talking about the Patriots (Which of course means constant dribble about Brady) and Syracuse. I'd rather listen to Stevie P for sure. I don't mind Stevie P's show at all unless its baseball season and I have to listen to him reeling off the batting averages of all NL shortstops or something which just puts me to sleep.
Geez you guy are cruel..Just don't listen if you like it.
I'm a fan of Stevie P...I like his banter and his personality. If anyone can honestly not thoroughly enjoy his rant on changing the Astros back to the Colt 45's...you need to find Jesus.
Foote is talking about seeing his first kid's head crowning during the birthing process and how cool it was and every man should experience it.
Paraphrasing, but, Foote: "Hey!!!HEY!!!!!There's something going on in here!!!!We need a doctor!!!!!!
You don't get radio much better than that.
It is nice to have not one but TWO local radio stations who cover the Cajuns and other local sports. These guys bust their butts for our listening pleasure (for probably VERY little pay) Some are Volunteers who take time away from their friends, family, amd other jobs to give us inside information both on air and online. I enjoy both stations and love the fact that I can listen online while in Texas. If I don't like the content or someone that is on, I simply change the channel. If you have constructive criticism I would suggest e-mailing the stations directly and I am sure they will do what they can to listen and give us what we want.
I for one would like to thank both staffs of ESPN 1420 and 103.7. Keep up the good work. Love what y'all are doing.
