I listen to Billy if in the car and then Jay in afternoor. I listen to B.J. Other than that I listen to music. New station in town 106.3. If you like Adult Alternative, it is good. The signal is kind of weak but they will be getting real antennae shortly and the signal is supposed to get stronger. I can't listen to Scott take 3 minutes to ask a question to someone. Just ask the question.

Ha! A friend of mine and I have discussed Scott's interview method. In actuality, he asks a very quick question. It's just that he gives his thoughts and opinions to his guests for 3-4 minutes at a time, then follows it up with a "right?". Or "don't you agree?". And if they then don't agree, he proceeds to argue with the guest he brought on to discuss a certain subject. Unlistenable.

I like the information gained by listening to Jay's show. And Bily's entertainment (and guests). Foote can be ok, depending on what he's discussing (I'll never understand how the station management doesn't intervene when "professional" wrestling is a topic). The rest of the locals illicit an immediate station change from me. And to the original point, the Oh Brother show is pure garbage. How that "show" has had more than 1 airing is beyond me.

The sports note IMO is the best sports show on 1420. I think billy does an awesome job of making the show about his guests and callers. It's not about him. I like 11-12 on 1420 better than any other time slot.

I am not 100% sure, but I think the reason they are on, is because they pay to be on. Mike and Dave do as well as Mr. Bitter. Why do you think Dave and Bitter do live commercials for 7 minutes at a time? The advertisers on those shows are not on any other programs. This is Town Square Media. It's all about the money. How else can you explain having a "Falcon" phone. Kevin talks about it not working. Is this a joke or is there really a Falcon phone?

Billy has come along way since starting out in the business. He has really worked hard to make his show one of the most quality sports shows out there. I remember when he started he had the guy on from the Flacons like every other day & that was putrid. But with the mix of guest hosts he has now, he keeps it entertaining for all the sports fans in acadiana.
