I used to like those guys, but they got way too bitter & stale. They always p!$$ & moan about the same crap all day every single day. I'm so tired of hearing about illegals & the brothers not working I can't stand it. Find something new to cry about already. And Gary & Shannon are a welcome break from the endless Stevie P. monologs all morning Monday-Thursday.

It amazes me how many people I know will start their political or news points with "I heard on Walton & Johnson..."

Its getting to a point where I am listening to less and less local sports morning talk.

1. Oh brother is the worst on radio
2. If you listen to Stevie P for 10 minutes, you pretty much have listened to his 60 min (7-8am) show. 70% is commercials and the other 30% is him repeating himself. I used to love listening to Stevie's show years ago but its going downhill these days.
3. 103.7 - there is more arguing between Dave & Chet than there is talk about sports. Also, I could care less about Syracuse sports.
4. Foote is Foote ... If I want to be less depressed about my life, I listen to him.

Birds Eye View is the only show that I really find informing in regards of local sports & sports in general.

I really can't stomach much of ESPN 1420 other than Jay's show. Between Stevie's non-stop ad plugging, Kevin's endless griping and Scott constantly trying to remind and/or convince us he is the hip and young sports guy, my sports dial is tuned into 103.7 The Game.

Jay and Ragin Cajun broadcasts are the only thing keeping 1420 relevant...

Pretty much totally agree... except i like Kevin.... Stevie sent me to 103.7... when they get on the tiggers of a&m@br, I switch to Walton and Johnson

When they used to be all comedy...they were gold. Solid gold. Mini-cattle still makes me laugh to this day. But they haven't been there in a while. Too political...who wants to be so bummed out so early in the morning or even riled up and angry at that point in the morning. We are driving for god sakes!!! Free Beer and Hot Wings makes me laugh...they steer clear of political mumbo jumbo. That's all I'm asking for...something light and airy for the drive to daily grind.

The sports note IMO is the best sports show on 1420. I think billy does an awesome job of making the show about his guests and callers. It's not about him. I like 11-12 on 1420 better than any other time slot.
