I just wish Mr. Bitter would say the name of sponsor he's plugging a few more times. I can't ever catch the sponsors because he glosses over them so fast.

I'm a little surprised by those here that listen to 103.7 in the morning. I find that they talk very little about UL in general and the host is not even from here nor does he know anything about this university. He talks Syracuse and New England Patriots all the time and I'm not for that. Its about as unlocal as you can get, if that is even a word. I've found, over the recent years, that we are fed much less LSU than before due to our growing community support for UL and the success we've had in various sports. Sure, there are callers that call in and want to discuss them but I don't find that same attitude of disbelief across the board when someone calls in and actually wants to talk Cajuns. Most people typically seem more than excited to talk some cajuns sports, at least on 1420.
and CAJUN RED ZONE radio is just kick as#
Just goes to show you how bad the morning shows on ESPN2420 are. Really? Stevie P philosophizing for an hour from seven to eight. Then McDonald about golf, and the Oh Brothers. Truly bad, bad at a whole new level. I agree nobody here cares about the Orange, or New England so you really have to be bad to not be killing that.
Its nice to have options
alum81, that is 100% correct bro
Actually Dave Schultz talks mostly UL in the morning. He only ever talks LSU when he has an LSU guest on and they're the flagship station for LSU in Lafayette.
They talk about more national stuff but when they're talking local, it's mostly UL.
I enjoy the morning guy's on 103 talking more national stuff. In my experience, Dave is definitely an upstate New Yorker, which can be an acquired taste, but it's a ton better than listening to Stevie P go on with his baseball opinions. (or really any of his opinions) I kinda like Kevin and his "glass half full" (yeah right) stance, and Billy @ 11. I enjoy Jay whenever I am able to listen in the afternoons, especially when he gets grumpy.
Back to the op tho, O Brother really sucks, and the hour wasted on golf is an hour that you will never get back in your life. I'd rather see a show dedicated to outdoor activities in the area and along the coast than what's available now.
