I found 4 shirts and a few pair of shorts. What I did see however as I walked in the store where 2 racks of LSU dorm items like towels, trash cans, etc...all the things a student needs to outfit their dorm room. I saw nothing for a dorm room with RC on it in the very town that the university resides. Do UL students decorate their rooms with LSU stuff???? WHat I did see however was numerous racks of LSU shirts, PJ pants, etc. The school is missing an opportunity to make money when it comes to returning and new students and those of us who live out of town. I wish there was a store just to buy UL stuff no matter what the logo becomes. _
Scott Farmer's plan is to but a subsidiary of the book store at the football stadium once renovations occur. That outlet would have hours that would compete with the other stores in town. I am not sure if it would truly have books but it definitely would have lots of UL gear. In the meantime, try Bell's or Louisiana Hot Stuff next time you are in town and looking for UL gear. Also, you can buy stuff online.

Bell's has high quality merchandise. Always has. Just don't go in to shop right after Christmas (like I did) because the selection will be very limited! Live and learn.

Should have gone with ULA from the start. Works for Georgia and Virginia. LA would work for Louisiana or Lafayette so who could say anything about it?

I could be wrong, but I think I remember someone saying that was not allowed as well.

I will always believe that the best thing we could have done was to go with.....

    UNIVERSITY OF ACADIANA

-It is original and safe from the abbreviation wars

    or

    UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH LOUISIANA

-Lets us keep the letters USL, and it fits with similar schools in the region: North Texas, South Alabama, East Carolina, South Florida...etc.

I've got a t-shirt with an all red and white version of both the pepper and the circle logo. Looks pretty snazzy. Really shows you how with multiple colors really screws things up

Yeah I really wish they would take the yellow and orange out of any logo we use. It just doesn't look good.

I like Bell's shirts. I've gotten some really great UL shirts at Bell's. I've got a long sleeve pull-over wind shirt that rocks. I hate thinking about a super UL shirt I bought at Bell's a couple of years ago. The material was basically microfiber - wash, hang up and wear... but the collar was a little off and I stuck an iron to it... burned and ruined it. I've replaced it with another pretty good one from Bell's, but I've never seen that shirt again. Bums me out... I looked like a stud in that shirt... I mean... I was a stud in that shirt... I mean... I am a stud and that shirt made me look even more like a stud. Damn I miss that shirt.

Yeah if you're looking for Polos or hot weather fabric shirts Bell's is the best and the bookstore is a very close second. Both have the russel, nike, adidas, and under armour shirts. I can't wait for the bookstore to open so I can go buy my Tailgate shirt.
