Basketball Anyone?

I know I know, very very too premature. BUT, are all of the transfers, our two big boys that transfered (UNLV and Juco Transfers) in class? any news good or bad. By no means am I giving up on Football already. Although I'm every unhappy with the current coaching regime. I mean seriously, what happened to the glowing reviews this team got from the coaching staff in the preseason? I digress. We've got a new Scoreboard in the dome, we've got beer kegs waiting to be tapped, a UL basketball team on the brink (of what i'm not sure yet. haha), and a little unfinished business from how the season ended last year. Anybody got anything on basketball?

I'm just tired of hearing how terrible the football defense is and how desmo should be moved to another position, yadda yadda yadda. And we've only played 1 game.

I talked to Courtney a while back,he'll be moved to PF this season. He also had procedure to fix his hand. The guys are ready for this season and so am I. Bring on Dome-foam and John Brady

I have high hopes for this team. I it may take a few games, maybe half the season for them to be at their best. But I think their best is going to be pretty damn good! If I've heard correctly this team should have 2 seasons together. My expectations will be through the roof for that second season. I think coach Lee will have these guys ready to rumble and put critics saying he can't coach at this level to rest. And then there's the dome foam. What else can I say, it never graduates, it's never in academic trouble, it doesn't miss 3's or jumpers. Dome Foam, by far my favorite Cajun basketball "player". haha

Yeah, dome foam does blur one's reality at times. Thought I saw Bobby Knight coaching the last game against Troy....oops wrong general.
Maybe the bad taste in my mouth after the game was dome foam.
