Future Non-conference games you would like to see

Below is a list of teams not in our conference that I would like to see on the Cajuns schedule more often over the next few years. While I had football in mind when I complied this list, these teams would also be nice to play in all other sports as well. Yes, I know we have played most all these teams in the past I am just saying I would rather see us travel to Starkville or Oxford than to Minnesota or Arizona State(for example), and play South Florida at home instead of Nicholls State(for example). Our OCC games should come against southern (C-USA, WAC or MAC) teams whenever possible and when playing BCS teams stay in Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama, oh yeah and Louisiana

For me, I would love to see Ole Miss here, but then again, im very partial as my parents are both Ole Miss alum, which would mean, I would acctually have more reasons to hate my parents :-P (JK). Anyway, besides that Bias, I would love to see more La Tech, Tulane, and would really love to see a game between us and Mcneese in football. Theres to much money to be made with that one esspecially. I kinda also like the games with Texas AM. Southern Miss is also a great one, but i think those would be my schools I either enjoy seeing, or would like to see more.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if we could get Notre Dame on the schedule!

In spite of all the noise it is clear Tech is doing something right. Texas A & M, Miami both in Sherveport. Maybe we need to do something along those lines in New Orleans.

I like Texas schools because of the recruiting... The Louisiana schools should be a given... The Cajuns need to be known across Louisiana.

There are plenty teams in the states we border to keep us very very busy, very very successful and very well challenged.
4 SEC teams
3 Big 12 Teams
3 CUSA Teams
2 [?] WAC teams
not to mention our own conference, and some rather old rivalries...

I agree that there is no reason to fly across the country to play football. Let's get competitive in our region first.
