Hates too strong, buddy.. I dislike the fact that he sat on his ___ and almost lead us over the cliff with respect to athletics. The fossil and his ilk would be geeked if we still made our conference road trips by bus to such exotic locales as Nachitoches, Lake Charles and Beaumont Texas. Everyone could be drive home and be safe in their beds the same night as the game.
His "small time" thinking almost killed us.

Sadly there are still fossils among us. Some read this board.

I don't expect them to rewrite stories that are already written. But their website hasn't mentioned the #1 ranking ONE time.

When's the last time a Sun Belt team was ranked #1 in ANYTHING, ANYWHERE, ANY TIME?

Need evidence this conference isn't out to help us? What more proof do you need than that?

The SBC resents us for who we are. We should be the team that like ULM can give them a flash in the pan headline like...Beating Arkansas...but doesn't overachieve and make everyone feel bad. That's what they want...they want a new champion every year so they can all live together in harmony and mediocrity. But...that's not the name of our game anymore...much to the chagrin of our stalwart AD. Our AD would love for us to be the ho hum, awe shucks middle of the road program we used to be. Too bad...he hired Hud...____ed off Tony...____ed off Michael Lotief...and hired Marlin and Broadhead. Dumbass.

Has anyone seen the alternate ending to Major League? The one where the widow of the old Indians owner was being mean and callous towards the team all because she wanted them to succeed for her late husband. If you haven't seen it...check it out...puts an entirely new spin on how the movie ended. I wish this was a movie...and this was Farmer's intentions...this is why he is doing what he is doing. The botching of CUSA...trying to force out the Lotief's...leaving Tony out to dry...ignoring Hud...sitting on his hands with his clenched jaw smile. It would be an evil genius move. Farmer may have had input into the hiring of Marlin, may have been the driving force, but he was not athletic director, or interim athletic director when Bob Marlin was hired. Marlin hired March 2010, Farmer named AD in October 2011 and served as interim for nine months according to his bio on the UL website.
