It will be interesting to see how high this poll tosses that big purple mess...seeing as they swept the #13 team in nation at home. I would bet my bottom dollar they move them into the top 5.

Even when we're #1 in the nation, "the big purple mess" finds itself high atop our threads and our thoughts.

We really are small time until we learn to quit looking to Baton Rouge for validation of who we are or how great we are.

It's small time thinking, y'all. I hope the Tigers win every single game the rest of the way, until the post-season starts.

That helps the Cajuns, and I could give a fat flying fig what happens in Baton Rouge.

We could win the national effing championship, and some of you will be p*ssed if LSU comes in 3rd.

Yep, I care about LSU to the extent they help our RPI so given that, I hope they win out. I personally don't visit tiger droppings because I am not very interested in LSU sports and don't care much what they do.

I will say that my LSU coworkers pro actively discuss UL/ LSU baseball with me, especially last year and this year and it is cool to get some kudos in the office :-)

9 SEC teams in the top 25? Come on now just because they're beating up on each other doesn't mean they're all the best. Rankings can be comical

If you never leave home and 9 teams are ranked, open with 12 patsy games, You can not lose. It is a Bu-l Sh-t
system. They shouldn't even have a rank until 1/2 way through the season and you see who has beaten who. But the world is not made fair.

I'd rather consider the other 24 innings of play against the same hitters. Matt Plitt has been very good this year, and he had trouble locating that inning. When you score 7 in the top of the inning, and come out and walk the first two batters in the bottom of the inning you're asking for trouble. Matt had trouble hitting spots in one inning, but that hasn't been the norm this year where he's been very solid.

I agree ... you could see his curve ball (attempt) on tv ... not much break at all, so they are sitting on his fast ball and he couldn't locate it ... Robe was staying with him longer than he would normally just because of the second game and shortage of pitchers and the big lead.

No.....one bad inning in how games???? If it continues to happen then be worried...
Its baseball this happens to all teams. The will get you at some point.
