I think they been listening to Kevin Foote too much. You do not want to win by a lot of runs.

There you go Boom. 11 run lead with a game following. He had a ton of slack (and used it all)

But shades of the 2006 game at UALR when the Cajuns yielded seven in the B9th for a 12-11 loss.

That was a nightmare. Relief pitching was an adventure in 2006.

Or the game against UALR last year when we were down big in the 9th and exploded to win by 5. It was the same scenario. We just kept hitting and there was nothing the Trojans could do.

Everything inside me tells me that this team is the best team in the country... and I'm one of the most Ragin' Pagin'esque pessimistic guys around.

In 2000, we lost 9 games in a row at this point. This team just plain WINS. Period.

This is special, guys. Like... national championship- calliber special.

Even Ronnie Rantz had to admit that. Bet that couldn't have tasted good.

    This team is scary good.

    OOC score update-
    Virginia loses to Pitt
    A and M beats Bama
    Houston splits 2 games
Ole miss wins again. I guess that helps us somewhere.

I wasn't saying it would. I was talking about the Ole miss win. I forgot who we played that took 2 of 3 from them.
