Thread: USN&WR Rankings

    Default USN&WR Rankings

    1) For the umpteenth time (everybody keeps asking me) LSBR did not make Tier 1. It's a typo. They're ranked #130; in previous years 1-50 is Tier 1, 51-120 is Tier 2.

If USN&WR changed the brackets, State may have moved up to Tier 2. But they did not, under any circumstances, make Tier 1.

    2) ULM did not make Tier 3 Doctoral, they made Tier 3 Master's.

    'Nuff said.

Doctoral institutions offer a wide range of undergraduate, Master's and doctoral degrees, and are heavily invested in research. UL offers 9 PhDs in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Biology, Cognitive Sciences, Communicative Disorders, English, Francophone Studies, and Educational Leadership.

Master's offer few if any doctoral programs. ULM offers 4, 2 in education, one in counseling, 1 in Pharmacy.
