My guess: if it doesn't happen/happen like the drawing, there are less upset people.

Go on the Ragin Cajun Website... go to the "Inside Athletics" tab...
Open the "Athletic Facilities Master Plan"..
Its all tentative stuff, but I think this is the plans for the changes to Cajun Field Rusty was talking about..
Pretty cool stuff is you have never seen it...

This would be a great question for Jim hale to,answer/address: when we talk about more transparency this is the perfect example.

It makes more sense to build for 45-50k, because this community and this University can realistically obtain and support it.
---I was at a naming rights meeting that I guess could be the silent phase and some thing I can report is that there will be naming rights to the Tower of the new facade, the Field, and the stadium----this was a meeting to secure the amount for the Field probably---the tower is less and the stadium more!!! I think the rough amount is $2.5 million for the Tower, $5 million for the Field, and $12.5 for the field!!! Don't hold me to those amounts but for sure there is a very active push behind this next tier in the master plan!!! And yes that is a very good thing!!!

We have seen those, but 1) those are not the actual plans....they are just a conceptual drawing of what it could be, 2) From what we've heard from folks who have seen the actual drawings, it is going to be much nicer than what is in the plan.

Primarily because the plans aren't finished. Preliminary numbers came in about 10% over budget. My understanding is Coach Robe & admin are determined to not cut any areas that would effect the fans. So as far as I know they are working through that issue. More money and/or cuts to reach the budget numbers.

They are trying to get the lights in before this season starts. The plan all along has been to start construction on the grandstands after this season ends and that seems to be on track.

I know we have all heard about the Tigue renovations for years but it's the real deal this time around.

Can't wait to see "Boomer's Bell" installed in the tower.

---No this deal is outside on the 7 story building that has a walkway near the top open glass from one side to another----Really cool---I think the sketch is somewhere in the master plan but looked great!!! I figured you were referring to the white tower in the SEZ!!! Sorry if I am wrong!!!

I have not seen the plans for CF yet, but someone please tell me we are getting rid of the outdoor playpen the NEZ has become. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Are the bullpen areas and patio boxes down the lines staying the same?
