Actually, we are a hair below Florida at #10. Both Louisiana and Florida have an RPI of .6043 ... but Florida's RPI is ever so slightly higher.

The reason ... Warren Nolan has Tulane's record higher than it should be at 13-13. Tulane is actually 13-14 ... he is missing the second loss to Marshall. This dents both our OWP and to a lesser extent our OOWP.

That said, there is not much separating the Cajuns at #10 and Rice at #7. There is a healthy gap from #7 to #6.

They are not there now ... and it will be difficult to get into the Top 8 RPI (selection time) with the remaining schedule. But not impossible.
