    Anyone know what the main difference between RPI and NPI (Warren Nolan's ranking)? We were #1 for a while and are #2 currently.

    In my mind it is a better indicator of the better team. You don't know those teams, you don't play them 6 times a year every year.

    More so than in conference it is mono A mono, tendencies unknown. Best team wins.

    So to get a national seed below even the overall RPI was an atrocity.

    This. Plus a team really has no control over the overal RPI of their conference. They can only play & beat the schedule of their conference. The OOC should have some kind of a weighted formula if it doesn't.

    You'll have to email them to see what their formula is. Something they came up with I'm sure.

    If anyone else was wondering, I got a response from Warren Nolan. He gives bonuses for margin of victory. Didn't give me any more detail, so there you have it.
