    Default 48-CAJUN

I sent the following email to several members of the Baton Rouge media on Tuesday morning. And WBRZ on the sports tonight at 10 actually talked about us. Here is the clip. They don't talk about us until 45 seconds into the clip...sorry.

    Dear Media People,

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns <http://www.ragincajuns.com> have a huge game this week in Lafayette at Cajun Field. I am writing to ask that you please mention it to your viewers, listeners, and/or readers as much as possible during this week.

This game comes at a great time, since LSU has an open date this week. We are hoping that maybe some fans would like to come and see a great Sun Belt Conference game that is not a far drive from most people in the area.

The game is being played on Friday, November 5, 2004 at 9:00pm and is being shown on national TV by ESPN2. This is the first time ever that the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns have been on national TV. The more fans that are present, could help us show the nation that there is good and decent football at the University of Louisiana.

The Louisiana Athletic Department has put some tickets on sale for half price, in hopes to pack the house. Prices start at just $7 for this game.
More information about the game can be gotten from the AD office by calling (337) 482-2586. For ticket information please call the Cajundome box office at (337) 265-2100 or (337) 265-2357 or http://www.cajundome.com/tickets.asp.
Media guides can be ordered from

Thanks for your support of Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns.

Great job, but one correction: this NOT the first time our FB team has been on national TV. It is the first time in quite a while, and we have not been on nationally too many times (you can probably count the number on one hand and not use all of your fingers!). Thanks for working with the BR media to promote UL!

When were we previously on national TV?
