Scooter Rogers appreciates having the same mailing address for the second consecutive year.

The senior cornerback at UL spent his first year after graduating from Mosley High in Florida at Hinds Community College in Mississippi. He later earned second team All-America honors at Fort Scott Community College before joining the Ragin' Cajuns.

Before UL's preseason camp ended, Rogers spoke with The Daily Advertiser about his hair, this season and his future.

Question: What are you excited about the most going into this season?

Answer: Everybody's been working hard this summer, getting bigger, stronger and faster. I just want to see what kind of players we really have.
