Chris Lapoint, victorious, fell across the finish line of Sunday's Zydeco Marathon. The 40-year-old Youngsville man, after two hours, 49 minutes and 44 seconds, was the first to complete 26.2 miles in the Zydeco Marathon's inaugural run, even after a brief collapse at the 25.5 mile marker.
