Walsh Sparks Cajuns Offense in Big Sixth Inning

Samantha Walsh tied the game twice, first with a solo home run in the fourth and later with a two-run single in the sixth, to spark the Ragin' Cajuns offense and help the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns to an 8-3 win over Texas State and a three-game series sweep of the Bobcats on Sunday at Lamson Park.

Gotta give major props to the Texas State coach for panicking before the Cajuns had done any damage in the 6th inning. She replaced the pitcher that kept the Cajun batters off balance the entire game and had gotten Haley Hayden out and two runners on base with a slap hitter coming to bat. Her other pitchers couldn't handle the pressure and the Cajuns cruised to 7 runs in the inning.
