The sooner everyone can get off of the I hate LSU wagon and get on the "What can I do to help the Cajuns" we will be better off.
LSU did 2 things to hurt this university, death penalty and name change. After that everything has been done to us has been by us. Not LSU.
Those are the biggest two, but there are plenty of others. Seems like the computer school got screwed by the flagship a while back. I am sure there are countless lesser offenses. But I get your point.
I'm not sure that validation of a single touchdown scored in 1924 does much to boost the cause.

It has been repeated often though, so I'm glad the claim was put to rest.
Incidentally, the claim was used as a defensive motivational tool (at least by their fans)when UL and LSU played in 2002.
